Andrew applied the Page 69 Test to Recipes for Love and Murder: A Tannie Maria Mystery, her first novel, and reported the following:
This page shows part of Tannie Maria's response to a man who wrote a letter to her 'Love Advice and Recipe Column' in the Klein Karoo Gazette. Page 69 also catches some of Maria's conversation with Detective Henk Kannemeyer (the tall detective with the chestnut moustache), and gives a taste of the murder and intrigue that flavours the book.
