Page 69 of You Were Meant for Me is not a page filled with high drama or tension. But on page 69 the protagonist, Miranda Berenzweig, makes what proves to be a fateful decision by agreeing to allow Geneva Bales, a journalist seeking an in-depth interview, into her life. On the surface, Geneva seems intelligent, thoughtful, sensitive and charming. But she has a secret agenda Miranda doesn’t and can’t know anything about, and it is this hidden agenda that gets set into motion on that page. Miranda’s page 69 decision turns out to rock her world in a way she could not have imagined.Learn more about the author and her work at Yona Zeldis McDonough's website.
